Nairn Hydrotherapy Pool, established in 1985, has been enhancing lives for four decades. Located in the grounds of Nairn Town and Country Hospital, it was the first hydrotherapy pool in the Scottish Highlands and remains dedicated to serving the community.
Our warm water pool (33°C) provides natural support to your body, offering gentle resistance for muscles and soothing relief for aches and pains. Hydrotherapy is well-known for its therapeutic benefits across a range of conditions.
You don’t need an NHS referral to use the pool. If you believe it could benefit you, feel free to reach out with any questions - we’d be happy to assist you.
We offer a range of sessions, including Hydrotherapy, Physiotherapy (NHS and Self-Referral), Water Circuits, Aqua-Natal and Post-Natal classes, Under-5’s sessions, and swimming lessons for all ages in partnership with our swim schools. Our pool is also available for private hire. Additionally, our on-site physiotherapist offers massage services to further support your well-being.
The pool is wheelchair accessible, with a hoist available to assist disabled users in entering and exiting the pool. We offer unisex changing rooms, a toilet, and a poolside shower. Each changing area provides baskets for your belongings while you're in the water.
You can book hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, water circuits and massage sessions via email or in person at the pool. All postnatal, aqua-natal classes, private hires, and under-5s swims can be booked online here.
